It would be nice if you send out emails for the current content of an RSS feed when a new subscription is added.

How many updates is considered to be 'a lot'? I think Joystiq.com gets about 20 updates to its feed per day, which appears to result in roughly 10 emails in two batches. I have only a day's worth of experience to base this on, however.

Still, rssfwd appears to work better than feedmailer.net, which, since signing up, has sent me an email every hour telling me there are no updates for the feeds I'm subscribed to. Which, on inspection, is incorrect.

polling timings depends on the feed's traffic. a feed with a lot of updates will get polled more often than otherwise

How often does rssfwd poll for updates? Seems like only a couple times per day or something, which for my purposes isn't frequently enough.

@juxtafem: Hi I don't find your email in the system. Could you let me know your subscribed email address so I'll check for you?
